Instructions and notes for VB-Switch


This utility allows you to totally disable task switching by:

	Disabling ALT-TAB
	Disabling CTRL-ESC
	Disabling use of 'Switch to...' from all control menus
	Disabling Double-Clicks on the desktop

To fully stop users from switching tasks, you should also remove
TASKMAN.EXE from the Windows directory.


How to Use VB-Switch

For testing and evaluation of the program, do NOT edit the INI
file. Once you decide to implement, edit the 'Hide' item in the
'Options' section of the INI file so that it looks like this:

	Hide=True

This will make the progam invisible. There will be no entry on the
task list, and no icon onthe desktop. Once the program disappears,
there is no way to stop it except to restart Windows, or reboot the
system. When used in hidden mode the initial 'About' message box
is not displayed.

If your local language is not American English, you can localize
VB-Switch. Just edit the 'Captions' section of the INI file and
enter the translations for the two text strings. The first item,
'Form', is the text that you will see on the taks list, and the
caption for the icon on the desktop. The second item, 'About', is
the text that is used in the control box menu for the application.

The distributed files include everything that you need to
run the program. The source code is also included. However,
if you want to make modifications, you will need to have a
